Authentic Networking is NOT about walking away with a handful of business cards after one visit and pumping those new contacts for business or referrals.

It IS about meeting other people running small businesses in West Sussex, building earnest relationships with them, sharing your expertise, supporting fellow businesspeople and most importantly of all raising awareness about your business, which will, in turn, lead to new business.

Networking is a very effective way of promoting your business and generating new sources of income from new clients - IF you approach it the right way. At Authentic Networking we believe the right way involves approaching networking with a long-term, investment strategy in mind and a genuine desire to expand your network of businesspeople and clients through word of mouth and referrals.

Therefore, Authentic Networking has been created to provide a forum where small businesses in West Sussex can come together on a regular basis, enjoying the support of a relaxed, earnest and professional atmosphere where education about your business is the primary aim so your fellow networkers can become your raving fans and spread the word!

Authentic Networking also aims to bring together novice and experienced networkers for the benefit of all, both promoting our business awareness and also gaining valuable networking skills and contacts at the same time. We have a 'buddy' system where more experienced and confident networkers can share their experience and tips of networking with those who aren't so familiar with it or haven't found their feet yet.

We meet on the last Tuesday of every month, breaking for December and July.

There is no membership fee and it costs just £15 per meeting to attend, which includes your choice of drink (alcoholic if you choose!) and your choice of a deli board lunch. Every meeting has a guest speaker, networking tips and of course, networking!
